    Description

For Your Consideration, I’m Pleased To Offer An Antique Set Of Matching WWI 1916 SKINNER LONG SHANK CAVALRY SPURS, BROAD ARROW STAMP ON BOTH SHANKS. The Broad Arrow Of Course Indicates That These Spurs Were Used By Canadian Mounted Units In WWI.  So There Is No Doubt That They Are Military Issue.  However, There Is Also The Possibility That These Belonged To A Member Of The RNWMP, Or RCMP.  As Many Members Of The Force Served In WWI And Upon Return Used Their Spurs For Duty. Same Goes For The Fact That A Number Of Returning Soldiers Became Part Of The RCMP Upon Their Return From The War To End All Wars. Either Way, These Are The Exact Style Of Long Shank Spurs Used By The RCMP, As Skinner Was The Main Supplier.  So If Your Wanting To Collect Them For The Historical Value, Or If Your An Active Member Of The RCMP And Want To Have Them Refurbished To Put Them Back Into Duty.  Either Way This Set Is A Winner!  For Those Wanting To Have Them Refurbished, The Leather Shop At RCMP Depot Division Can Do Them For You.  Please View All Photos To Determine The Condition For Yourself, As They Form An Integral Part Of The Description.
