    Description

    Up for sale is a rare and beautiful antique 1 gallon stoneware? Advertising Jug, from CA1910 On the front reads - J.J. KELLEY FAMILY LIQUOR STORE, 1313 1315 FIRST AVE. SEATTLE, WASH. It is in excellent / mint condition for it's age, with only a very small chip on the front bottom, that I think came out of the kiln that way and the lettering is in nice Cobalt Blue ink. This old Saloon jug is expertly made and has an albany (brown) glaze on top and a zinc (white) glaze on the dody. The spout and applied handle are perfect, there is no damage, no repairs, and the measurements are 11" tall x 6 1/2" wide and weighs about 6 Lbs. The family operated at this same address until the state went dry in 1914, See photos for more details.
