Albert Henry Culverhouse was born on 20th August 1889 at Chapmanslade, Westbury, Wiltshire, England and was a Plasterer by trade. He was a pre-war member of the 79th Cameron Highlanders of Canada when he attested on 11th August 1918 at Winnipeg. He served in various battalions and ended the war as an Officer Cadet. He died at Saanich, B.C. on 2nd Nov. 1958.
