Blue & White Ceramic Shadowtone Duck/Geese & Tree Water Pitcher -England
We are pleased to offer this lovely decorative blue and white ceramic pitcher featuring embossed geese or ducks. Its dark cobalt blue top shades to a speckled white toward the middle then back to cobalt blue on the bottom. Two birds, grass, a large leafy tree and flowers are rendered in relief on opposite sides.  This pitcher is stamped "Ironstone 1890 England" on the unglazed bottom. We believe it is a reproduction of an English Victorian era pitcher.
It measures 4-3/4" from side to side across the opening. The pitcher sports a glossy glaze with the exception of the exterior of the spout and a spot under the handle that you can feel with your hand. It stands 6-1/4" tall and measures 7-1/2" wide from handle to spout. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely ceramic pitcher that you are sure to want to add to your cobalt blue and white china collection. And the perfect gift for that special duck or goose lover in your life.
