The look of it ignites pictures of it in the hands of French rulers from Charlemagne through Henry VIII and beyond.
Fleur-de-lis motif abounds on the pommel, hilt cross-guard and both the throat and tip of the scabbard. The double edge blade (not sharp) is crafted from stainless steel. A black handle, made with a leather type material, contrasts beautifully with the shiny silver of the blade and other appointments. The scabbard has the same leatherette covering.
