This hand-crafted wooden goose coin bank is in very good condition. This collection piece appears to be made out of Pine wood and looks to have been oil painted. There is no information on this collector piece. This is an original paint you see in the photos that are not worn off or faded. This is normal as it was done by the wood crafter. The wood crafter of this wooden goose coin bank is unknown, but it was done by Three Pines Woodworking here in New York State. (See photo of the bottom.) The wood work of this goose is expertly done and it is beautiful. There is a coin slot on the goose back and the right side wing comes off to get coins out. (See photo.) This collection piece will add beauty to your country setting home while keeping your money and/or collectible coins safely hidden. This wooden goose bank has a small flaw at the bottom of the neck area which is visible at close up, is a small ding. See photo of it which can be clearly seen with the help of the
camera's
flash and it is inside the red circle. It is not noticeable if viewed further away. This ding can be repaired by filling some wood putty and then lightly sanded. A flat black oil paint should cover it well and match up with the original paint. The approximate measurement of this goose bank is as follows: The height to top of head: 9 3/4

The beak tip to tail: 13" , Body width (without adding the wings): 3 1/2", the body with the wings: 5 1/4", and height of the body to the back (at highest point): 4 1/4". This will be packed with extra care.
