this  auction  is for a
ROLLEI Rolleiflex SL66 chimney meter finder  CDS meter
.  It is in  very clean conditions overall, I just placed a new battery in it.  the meter  does work fine and it's accurate , I tested it  with my Pentax spot meter and Sekonic as well.  .  this particular finder meter is not directly coupled with the shutter speeds of the camera, it  is a two steps process.  you need  to read  the exposure  value  by adjusting the shutter speeds dial on the right of the finder and adjusting the F stops  on lens only by closing manually  the iris of the lens (stop down). after  the reading  is done you need to transfer the correct shutter speed on the speeds/dial of the camera . please also  note : that the on & off button that  activates the meter comes up  only for few seconds  to save battery energy .  Camera  is not  part of the auction.
this chimney meter is a MUST  if you're doing close up photography  with the SL66.
