In view is a used Sinar Binocular Magnifier 471.21 for Sinar Large Format View Cameras. This item is in excellent condition. Designed to be attached to a Sinar bellows, the Binocular Magnifier magnifies the view 2x for ease of focusing, especially in bright light conditions. The magnifying lenses are mounted on a carrier that can be swung in and out of the line of vision using the side mounted lever. The 2x magnifying lenses can be replaced with higher powered magnifiers when needed.
The Sinar Binocular Magnifier can be attached to any Sinar bellows with a 4x5” frame for viewing the image on the focusing screen. With the magnifier swung in, the image on the screen is magnified 2x. In order to avoid false exposure measurements when using the Sinar Metering Probe the Binocular Light Hood 531.51 is required for shielding the focusing screen from extraneous light during TTL metering. Joint Rod 472.51 is recommended for attaching the bellows.
This Sinar Binocular Magnifier 471.21 is in excellent condition. The plastic magnifying lenses are unmarked and perfectly clear. The matte finish of the molded shell shows minor signs of normal use. The swing mechanism for moving the magnifiers performs flawlessly. Attachment points are all in perfect condition.
