This is an intricately detailed dagger in the King Arthur genre that will make a handsome exhibit in any surrounding. Both the sword and scabbard have the ornate metalwork typical of the medieval period.
Although Sir Lancelot is known for his prowess with a sword (as well as for his romance with Guinevere), all of the knights carried a dagger for hand to hand combat situations where a sword is of little use.
The double-edged blade of the dagger being sold is crafted from stainless steel; it is approximately 9” long. The handle is smooth leather type material with decorated metal work on the pommel and cross-guard.
A leather style covered scabbard with nice metal work at the tip and throat completes the set.
