    Description

    Letter may be incomplete
The letter was written by an unidentified American man, describing his furlough vacation in Scotland, including visits to Dunfermline, Holyrood Palace, and Edinburgh Castle, and meeting a Red Cross worker and another girl. Contains such hilarious lines as "Tea & more tea, that's all I've had since I started on this furlough." and "Never call a Scotsman an Englishman. They hate it. They don't like the Englishmen & they let you know it."
Letter is undated; "Queen Elizabeth & the King" are mentioned at one point but I don't know if it's Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother or Queen Elizabeth II who is being mentioned.
