Description
Letter may be incompleteThe letter was written by an unidentified American man, describing his furlough vacation in Scotland, including visits to Dunfermline, Holyrood Palace, and Edinburgh Castle, and meeting a Red Cross worker and another girl. Contains such hilarious lines as "Tea & more tea, that's all I've had since I started on this furlough." and "Never call a Scotsman an Englishman. They hate it. They don't like the Englishmen & they let you know it."
Letter is undated; "Queen Elizabeth & the King" are mentioned at one point but I don't know if it's Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother or Queen Elizabeth II who is being mentioned.
