Here we have alot of seven (7) photo postcards
depicting military life at
Camp Borden
early in
WW1
. The cards have titles including "

Words of Sound Advice from the Instructor

Recru
its Learning Rifle Drill

Preparing the Targets

Battalion with Full Marching Kit Being Inspected
". The postcards appear to have been removed from a booklet. None have been mailed, though two have handwriting on the back in pencil, by No.763518, Pvt. F. Norman Crooks of Huntsville, Ontario, who enlisted in the
122nd "Muskoka" Battalion, CEF
, in April, 1916. The cards are in good condition but do show their age through soiling, creases, bumped corners, etc. Please see photos for details.
